The demographic and economic forecast of population, households, and employment is first developed at the regional and county levels and was guided by SCAG’s demographic panel of experts. This data will be reviewed and edited by local jurisdictions during the Local Data Exchange process with an input deadline of November 20, 2026.

As such these plan data represent a snapshot in time and may not reflect subsequently available information. Please contact local jurisdictions directly to ensure the most up-to-date planning, development, and construction information. TAZ-level growth projection data are a tool to understand how regional policies and strategies may be reflected at the neighborhood level. They reflect one set of future growth assumptions that would be consistent with the Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS); however, there are other development assumptions and growth patterns that would also be consistent with the SCS. As such they may not be used to show project inconsistency with Connect SoCal 2050. TAZ-level growth forecast data are advisory and non-binding and there is no obligation by a jurisdiction to change its land use policies, General Plan, or regulations to be consistent with them.

|
