The Sustainable Communities Program (SCP) is SCAG’s technical assistance grant program that supports the implementation of Connect SoCal. The Active Transportation & Safety component of the SCP funds projects that improve transportation safety for people walking and biking, in line with the Connect SoCal 2024 mobility goal to build and maintain an integrated multimodal transportation network. In support of the 2028 Games, SCAG is partnering with LADOT to pilot car-free demonstrations to improve safety and active transportation connections on roadways with a significant history of collisions near venues and major tourist destinations.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
