Service Description: California Assembly Bill 2 (AB 2) was approved in September 2015 and allows for the establishment of Community Revitalization and Investment Authorities (CRIA) to fund infrastructure improvements, commercial development, and affordable housing in disadvantaged communities. Dataset includes census tracts in the SCAG Region, satisfying three of AB2 CRIA criteria which are (1) median household income less than 80% of statewide median income, (2) unemployment rate higher than 3% of statewide median unemployment and (3) crime rates higher than 5% of statewide median crime rate.
